Network of International Christian Schools (NICS)
ICAN is a member of the Network of International Christian Schools(NICS).
NICS operates 20 schools in 16 countries around the world, including one
online school. |
 |
Being a part of a large international network of schools benefits ICAN
students by:
-recruiting highly qualified professional educators.
ICAN faculty members are recruited through the NICS Home Office.
-providing the opportunity for ICAN teachers to network with other educators around the world.
Teachers can share information, advice, and expertise with hundreds of professional teachers in similar schools.
-helping prepare ICAN teachers for working in an international school.
Each new teacher attends a two-week training in-service designed specifically
for educators working with international students.
Members of ICAN's experienced faculty are counselors and staff at this
in-service.
|
The mission of NICS is to establish a worldwide network of international
Christian schools staffed by qualified Christian educators, instilling
in each student a Biblical world-view in an environment of academic excellence
and respect for people of all cultures and religions.
