Fall Festival is held each year in November as the main fundraising activity for the ICAN PTF. Children can participate in a variety of fun, carnival-type games, and all visitors can enjoy delicious food from around the world. The highlight of the event is a huge raffle where everyone has a chance to win great prizes!
Once a year, the entire school takes a field trip as an opportunity for all ICAN students to share an exciting experience together. The location of the field trip is different each year, but it is always at a fun attraction that teaches about local Japanese culture.
In celebration of the many unique cultures represented by ICAN families, students spend the day learning about people from around the world. Students are encouraged to dress in traditional clothing, they participate in activities to learn about other cultures, and they discover how God has made every person special and unique.
In December, all ICAN students come together to perform in a Christmas concert. This production features singing, musical instruments, acting, and more, all to honor the birth of Jesus.
Each year the secondary students have the amazing opportunity to take a 3 day trip to a Japanese retreat center. During the trip, students participate in team-building exercises, individual activities, and Bible-study sessions. It is a wonderful experience for all students and a time that they will surely not forget!
Spring Picnic is a chance for the entire school to join together and enjoy the great outdoors. After an all-school chapel, students have the chance to eat lunch at the park and then participate in many fun, outdoor activities.
